We run many courses that will help you to grow in your faith and provide valuable input into your life as well as putting on events with the aim of having fun together and blessing those in our local community.

|London to Walsingham Pilgrimage|
|St Mary's Church Saffron Walden is on the resurrected London to Walsingham Pilgrimage route and where visiting pilgrims can stamp their official passbooks which can also used on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain.
Every 2 years or so we run a weekend away course at a church conference centre which is open to anyone in our team ministry churches. Our next weekend away is is likely to be in 2024 at the Belsey Bridge Conference Centre at Ditchingham near Bungay, Suffolk. See photos from our last weekend away in May 2022 here

Admitting Children to Holy Communion
Each year we admit a number of children to Holy Communion on Easter Sunday. This involves a short 2 hour preparation session prior to this run by our Youth Worker Matt Williamson. This mean that they are able to receive communion at all of our communion services. Many will later go onto being confirmed but this is not a prerequisite. CCS – Course in Christian Studies
The 2 year course which starts in September is for people who want to gain more in-depth knowledge. Subjects covered include biblical studies, church history, doctrine, spiritual growth, ethical issues, liturgy. The course lasts 2 years (6 blocks of 5 weeks). About 2 hours per week preparation is required. The cost is £150 per year. Please talk to your vicar if there is any problems with paying for it. Growing Leaders Course
A course runs from time to time. Participants meet monthly for about 2 hours. They are also teamed with a mentor to meet monthly to discuss the course. The subjects covered are learning about having a firm foundation in Christian Leadership, key skills of Christian leadership and keeping faithful in Christian leadership.
